Synopsis
A love triangle develops between Gao-bing (Chen Han-tien), his girlfriend Ping (Michelle Chen), and celebrity bread maker Bread (Anthony Neely). Gao-bing is satisfied with his sleepy-town life, running a quiet bakery handed down to him by Ping's father and marrying his childhood sweetheart. Meanwhile, Bread, who brings a recipe for a magical baguette to the bakery, sweeps Ping off her feet and manages to persuade her to run away with him to Paris. When Ping’s father suggests that Gao-bing and Bread face off in a baking contest for the best bread, Gao-bing sees this as his last chance to win over Ping...

Kao Pin-chuan, Lin Chun-yang
In 2007, Kao’s TV-movie "The Soul of Bread" received numerous nominations at Taipei Film Festival. Moreover, his works impressed the jury and audience by winning the Special Jury Award, Special Mention by Media, and Audience Choice Award. Lin participated in the production of several feature films in Taiwan. In the early 2007, Lin was selected to partake in Talent Campus#5 of Berlinale.
