Director
Benoit Jacquot

Born in Paris in 1947, he began his career as an assistant director of Marguerite Duras' Nathalie Granger. His directorial debut was The Musician Killer (1976).The School of Flesh, adapted from novel by Yukio Mishima, was selected in competition at Cannes Film Festival. His best works include Tosca and Adolphe. In both name and reality, he is a heavy hitter in the French movie scene.
