Introduction

Matsu encounters a ghost which leads Matsu to his dead body. Troubled by frequent appearances of the ghost, Matsu researches the ghost's past and finds he had gone missing with a young woman.

Director
Taku Shinjo

Born in Okinawa Prefecture. After graduating from the Screenplay Academy, he worked for Directors Shohei Imamura and Kiriro Urayama as their assistant director for years. Okinawan Boys (1983) was his first film. Aokigahara is the third film on which he and Mr. Shintaro Ishihara have collaborated, following Hidden Festival and Kamikaze.
