Introduction

Its directors previously depicted a girl trying to keep her family together in Bee Season (2005), and here they focus on another whose parents are already divorced. Its poignant yet humorous air is thanks to the effective casting of future child star Onata Aprile as Maisie, Julianne Moore, who was captivated by the script, and rising Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård.
